Project managers and PMI chapter leaders are expected to be problem solvers. Too often, we are not sure of how to find the best solutions and often go with the first idea that comes to mind—which typically is not the best option. This session is designed to share and explore what problem solving is not—and the tools and techniques that can be used to solve problems in any situation anywhere, anytime.

At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:
(1) describe what is not considered problem solving;
(2) identify problem-solving techniques that may be used anywhere, anytime.
